Electronic Archiving Policy

1. Long-Term Digital Preservation Commitment

Jurnal Pendidikan dan Penciptaan Seni (JIPSI) (Online ISSN: 2776-9801) recognizes the vital importance of preserving scholarly and artistic literature permanently so that all published research remains accessible to future generations of scholars, educators, artists, and libraries.

2. LOCKSS and PKP Preservation Network

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system developed at Stanford University Libraries and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to create a distributed, decentralized archiving system among participating research libraries. Through LOCKSS, participating libraries are permitted to collect, preserve, and serve permanent archival copies of the journal's content for purposes of preservation and restoration.

3. National Digital Archiving (Garuda, SINTA & Perpusnas RI)

All articles published in JIPSI are harvested, indexed, and digitally preserved in national repositories, including:

  • GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital): Maintained by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Garuda Journal ID: 22499).
  • SINTA (Science and Technology Index): Accredited SINTA 5 journal archive (SINTA ID: 11885).
  • National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Perpusnas RI): Statutory deposit and ISSN bibliographic records (e-ISSN 2776-9801).

4. Persistent Identifiers (Crossref DOI) & OAI-PMH Harvesting

  • Every published article is assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registered with Crossref under prefix 10.34007/jipsi to guarantee permanent citation linking.
  • JIPSI supports the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) at https://journal.mahesacenter.org/index.php/jipsi/oai, enabling automated metadata harvesting by global library systems and academic aggregators.

5. Self-Archiving Policy (Green Open Access)

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their paper—including the Preprint, Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM), and the Publisher's Version / PDF—in institutional repositories, artistic portfolios, or personal websites immediately upon publication without any embargo period, provided that full citation credit and the Crossref DOI link to the original publication in JIPSI are included.
