Copyright Policy

1. Author Retention of Copyright

Authors who publish their manuscripts and artistic creation reports in Jurnal Pendidikan dan Penciptaan Seni (JIPSI) (Online ISSN: 2776-9801) retain full copyright of their published text and original artworks without restrictions.

2. License to Publish

By submitting and publishing a manuscript in JIPSI, authors grant Mahesa Research Center (as the publisher of JIPSI) the Right of First Publication and a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, index, and archive the article in all forms and media, and to identify itself as the original publisher of the work.

3. Open Access Licensing Terms

All articles published in JIPSI are simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows anyone to copy, distribute, transmit, adapt, and make commercial or non-commercial use of the work, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and JIPSI as the source of first publication (including the article's DOI).

4. Author Rights After Publication

Because authors retain copyright, they are entitled to:

  • Share and deposit the published PDF (Version of Record) in institutional repositories, academic social networks, or artistic portfolios immediately upon publication without embargo;
  • Use the article and its visual/musical documentation in teaching, exhibitions, recitals, dissertations, and books;
  • Enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work, with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in JIPSI.
