Article Processing Charges (APC) and Author Fees Policy
INCODING: Journal of Informatics and Computer Science Engineering is an Open Access journal committed to full financial transparency. All published articles are made immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download without subscription charges. To cover the costs of editorial management, similarity screening, layout production, Crossref DOI registration, and online hosting/archiving, the journal applies the following fee structure:
1. Schedule of Fees
- Article Submission Fee: IDR 0.00 (FREE)
Authors are not charged any fee for submitting a manuscript or for initial editorial and similarity screening. - Article Processing Charge (APC) / Publication Fee: IDR 300,000 per accepted article
This fee is payable only after a manuscript has successfully passed double-anonymous peer review and has been formally accepted for publication by the Editorial Board.
2. Payment Procedure and Editorial Independence
Payment instructions and official bank account details are sent directly to the Corresponding Author by the Editorial Office together with the formal Letter of Acceptance (LoA). Authors must never make any payment prior to receiving an official acceptance notification. Payment of the APC does not influence the peer-review process or editorial decision-making.
3. Fee Waiver and Discount Policy
To ensure that financial constraints never prevent the publication of high-quality research, INCODING offers partial discounts or full fee waivers for:
- Authors from low-income or developing countries (international collaborative submissions);
- Partner institutions covered under active Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreements with Mahesa Research Center; and
- Unfunded student or independent researchers who demonstrate genuine financial need (requests must be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief at the time of submission).
